It’s a good year to die is AKE’s latest work for TRST records.. The record was recorded almost entirely in the mountains using only a monophonic analog synthesizer, processed through guitar pedals, overlapping different recording layers. The tracks are instinctive, everything has been played, and very little editing has been done on the recordings.

He was ready.
He had been preparing for this moment for years, he had learned patience.
Now he just had to wait, unhurried. His breathing was quiet even though it was occasionally interrupted by acid coughs. Last spots of his illness.
But it no longer mattered, everything would be resolved.

He opened his eyes and saw her coming. The end is the beginning.
Like a viper devouring its own tail.

His earth fingers had stopped hurting and slowly began to crumble.
Grains of dust broke off and were blown away by the light wind. They whirled in the air and then got lost in the morning light.
Consume your hands, then your arms, feet, legs.
The torso and head fell and became air in an instant.
